Fachhochschule Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der schulpädagogischen Fachliteratur hat der Begriff der Spiritualität bisher keinen nennenswerten Einzug gefunden. Eine Verknüpfung von Spiritualität und Schule scheint sich auf den ersten Blick ganz auf den Religionsunterricht zu beschränken. Im Zuge des PISA-Schocks richten sich die Augen der deutschen Schule auf die erfolgreichen Skandinavischen Länder, die bereits vor 10 Jahren richtungweisende Maßnahmen im Zuge des sozialen Wandels eingeleitet haben. "Kinder niemals beschämen" oder "Auf die Haltung kommt es an", sind Leitsätze der finnischen und schwedischen Schulen. Die Entwicklung sozialer Kompetenzen ist dort eine wichtige Basis für selbstorganisierte und kooperative Lernformen. Kann dieser kontrovers diskutierte Begriff in Worte gefasst und damit griffiger werden? Kann Spiritualität für die Entwicklung sozialer Kompetenzen und damit für den Erziehungsauftrag von Bedeutung sein? Wenn ja, welche Konsequenzen für den schulischen Erziehungsauftrag könnten daraus abgeleitet werden? Der Autor stellt sich mit dieser Arbeit dem Wagnis, auf diese schwierigen Fragen Antworten zu geben und Spiritualität auf den Boden ganz alltäglicher Bezüge zu stellen. Im Mittelpunkt der Arbeit stehen Fallbeispiele aus dem Klassenzimmer, die ganz real so im Unterricht auftreten können bzw. aufgetreten sind. Die Fallbeispiele werden anhand eines psychologischen Modells erläutert. Der Verlust von essentiellem Bewusstsein (Einheitsbewusstsein) steht im Mittelpunkt jeder (früh)kindlichen Charakterprägung. Um bspw. die Liebe der Mutter zurück zu gewinnen oder zu erhalten, wird ursprünglich vorhandene Essenz verdrängt und durch ein bestimmtes neues Selbstbild oder Verhalten ersetzt.
