A Humorous Take on the Quest for True Love
Excited about her life of adventure in beautiful Colorado Springs, enjoying the last few weeks of her Senior year, and writing her first novel-what more could any seventeen-year-old girl want? But Holly Gracin isn't satisfied. She wants romance. The kind that will one day blossom into a love that waits for her at the altar.
When handsome, everything-she-ever-wanted-in-a-guy Army Private Mike shows up, Holly thinks her Prince Charming has arrived, until she realizes there's a huge problem.
Then Peter enters the scene. Nice guy, but just a friend. Or is he?
How can Holly comprehend the difference between fairy tale love and the real thing when she can't even figure out how to stop wearing her watch upside down? Will she find true love in real life, or only in the pages of her novel?
And, speaking of love, how's she supposed to love others in her life, like her annoying little brother, who insists on pulling out his spy gear whenever her dates come over? Or God, who lets bad things happen? Or how can she love herself, when her mouth keeps forgetting to check with her brain before speaking?
Maybe love is more complicated than she thought.
Diamond Dreams charms the reader with a humorous and inspiring tale of romance with a touch of suspense. As Holly's wild imagination wreaks havoc, a mysterious neighbor, a friend's dream wedding, her boyfriend's rival, a tragic event, and a discovery of God's incredible love make Diamond Dreams a story the reader will treasure-and want to read again.
