About the Author: Mefa Dämgen, 1966 in München geboren, wuchs im idyllischen Niederbayern auf. Im Alter von 15 Jahren stieg er in die Fußstapfen seines Vaters und begann eine Handwerkslehre. Zwischen seinem 17. und 34. Lebensjahr gab er sich voll und ganz dem Squash-Sport hin, spielte von 1988 bis 1990 bundesweit in Deutschland, Österreich und Frankreich. Schon während dieser Zeit beschäftigte er sich mit Literatur und Kurzgeschichten. Mit Mitte dreißig schloss er einen Studienlehrgang in Betriebswirtschaft ab, um (vorerst) damit seinen Lebensunterhalt zu bestreiten. Nach seinem Abschluss schrieb er für Unternehmen Präsentationen, Fachberichte für die Unternehmensführung sowie Rezensionen für verschiedene Projekte. Seine Stärken liegen im Humor und in der Unterhaltung, die er mit einer spitzen Feder an den Leser bringt. Mefa Dämgen ist ein Zeitreisender, vielseitig und offen für alle neuen Projekte und Herausforderungen. Sein Lebensmittelpunkt liegt irgendwo zwischen München, Niederbayern und Köln. Die hauptsächlichen Beweggründe zu diesem Buch sind: der Wahrheitsgehalt dieser unglaublichen Story sowie eine Widmung an seine Söhne Niklas und Florian.
