Wissenschaftliche Studie aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Didaktik, Note: Sehr gut, Uniwersytet Warszawski, 33 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Was unter Landeskunde zu verstehen ist, dafür gab es in der Vergangenheit und gibt es auch heutzutage mehrere Definitionsversuche. Der Gegenstand der Landeskunde sind "alle Bezüge auf die Gesellschaft(en), deren Sprache im Fremdsprachenunterricht gelernt wird" (Buttjes 1991: 112); mit anderen Worten: es handelt sich um die Vermittlung des Wissens über die natürlichen Bedingungen und das Leben der Bewohner des Zielsprachenlandes, seine politischen, wirtschaftlichen, kulturellen Phänomene, das der Lernende benötigt, um sich in einer persönlichen Begegnung mit anderer Kultur entsprechend abfinden zu können (vgl. Heyd 1990: 47). Landeskunde hängt selbstverständlich eng mit dem Spracherwerb zusammen, ist ein wichtiger und untrennbarer Bestandteil des Fremdsprachenunterrichts. Sie wird in die Spracharbeit einbezogen und trägt zweifelsohne zur Entwicklung sowohl rezeptiver als auch produktiver Fertigkeiten bei. Durch die Begegnung mit landeskundlichen Materialien (mit Zeitungen, Zeitschriften, Gedichten, Liedern, Radio- und Fernsehsendungen etc.) und durch entsprechende Steuerung und Unterstützung seitens des Unterrichtsleiters entwickeln die Lernenden ihre Kommunikationsfähigkeit. Sie erlernen eine große Menge neuer Wörter, werden allmählich dazu fähig, sich an Gesprächen zu beteiligen, machen sich mit bestimmten festen Gebrauchsformen vertraut, die sie dann in vielen schriftlichen und mündlichen Äußerungen wie Briefe, Berichte oder Beschreibungen anwenden können (vgl. Heyd 1990: 47ff.).
About the Author: Dr. Radoslaw Lis wurde 1980 in Radom (Polen) geboren. Sein Studium der Germanistik an der Universitat Warschau schloss der Autor im Jahre 2013 mit dem akademischen Grad des Doktors erfolgreich ab. Fasziniert von der deutschen Kultur und Sprache, verbrachte der Autor langere Zeit in Deutschland. Seine Tatigkeiten bei verschiedenen Bildungsanstalten motivierten ihn, sich der Thematik des Schul- und Erziehungswesens zu widmen.
