About the Book

Before the reader is a precious, priceless, beneficial book written by Abdullah bin 'Abshan al - Ghamidi, titled: Siyat al - Lazi'at fi Kashfi Kazb wa Tadlis Sahib al - Muraj'at (Scourging whips: Uncovering the lies and fabrications of the author of The Right Path). The book; The right path (Muraja'at) was written by Sayyid Abdul Husain Sharafuddin Musawi an Iraqi Shia scholar (who settled and live in Lebanon) for the purpose of informing the Shia that the proofs to the rightness of their creed are supported by Ahus - Sunnah texts and in order to convert the ignorant, unsuspecting Ahlus - Sunnah to Shia creed or at least to put doubt in their minds with regard to their beliefs in Islam. Many Muslim scholars have written replies and critiques to the book, The right Path one of them is the author of this book, to which I hereby give the translated version (into English) the title: Reply to Shia; a critique of the right path. Other people that wrote a critique of the right path included Ayatullah Abul Fadl al - Borqei al - Qummi titled: Naqd al - Muraja'at (which I also translated into English), an electronic copy of the Arabic and Persian versions could be found in the web site: www.borqei.com. Another book written as critique to Muraja'at was authored by Dr. Ali Ahmad Salous titled: Fariyyat al - Kubra; al - Muraji'at li Abdul Husain Musawi. Abu Maryam bin Muhammad al - 'Azami also wrote a critique to Muraja'at titled: al - Hujaj al - Dhamighat li Naqdi Kitabul Muraja'at. Arabic electronic copies of these books and others written in reply to Shia or explaining their creeds both in the fundamentals (beliefs) and the observances (jurisprudence) could be found in the following websites: www.fnoor.com, www.dd-sunnah.net, www.gift2shia.com. Books found in these sites are written by both Ahlus - Sunnah scholars and former Shia scholars who left Shiism for Islam and they cover almost all branches of Shia creeds. The main purpose of writing this book is not to argue on the strength of the proofs brought forward by Musawi in his book, The right path, but to prove that they are not proofs supporting his creed in the first place because proving a creed has to be based on truth and not on lies, distortions, fabrications, fraudulent alterations, contradictory statements, defamation of the Prophet's companions (r.a) and degrading the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) in some of his conducts. After you finish reading this book, you will realize that it has no scientific value and that it is one of the greatest examples of academic cheating, dishonesty, deception, and fabrication; you will also come to realize that Musawi (and Shia generally) are unable to bring forward one authentic occasion where Imam Ali (r.a) or any member of the Prophet's household, stood up and declare that he is appointed by Allah and His Messenger to be the successor of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) as the leader of the Muslim community. We never found Imam Ali (r.a) citing the episode of Ghadir Khum, or the case of being appointed to overseer Madina when the Messenger of Allah and his companions went for the Tabuk campaign or any other episode to show that he is appointed by Allah to lead the Muslim community, but in the contrast we saw him saying that appointment to lead the Muslims is by consultation among themselves and that whoever they choose to lead them became the leader as per the pleasure of Allah (refer to Sermons nos.54, 91, 137, 172, 196, 227, 204 and letters no.1 and 6 etc. in Nahjul Balagah). Are Shia scholars more learned than Ali and members of the Prophet's household (r.a)?
