About the Book

Deceptions: Souls of the Innocent: Did I Sleep with my Half- Sister? is a book about a young boy who wanted to become President after seeing President Kennedy's funeral at the age of (6). My mother was married to my father they hailed from Des Moines, Iowa. They moved to Denver, Colorado there they would live as my father was a musician who played the upright Bass Fiddle he played with "Peter, Paul & Mary" and Cannonball Adderley! He would trick my mother into a divorce leave her said he was going out over the road and needed her to sign this document. She signed not knowing it was Divorce papers. He left her to be with another woman my mother got a job and when I was six years old, she was raped coming home from her job. As I grew up, she became angry and would take it out on me because I looked just like my dad. I would rebel and did not finish High-School in my last year and chose to go serve my country in the Marine Corps. I was in the reserves. I was injured in training and my time was up as a reservist, so I chose to get out of the Marine Corps they gave me an Honorable Discharge. I moved back to Denver My brother, and I went to visit my dad in Minnesota. While visiting him he had told us that he helped raise music Icon "PRINCE ROGER NELSON" that many years ago he and his mother and Prince's father John had a band together and if anything, ever happened to him look for a woman named Mattie Dowell Baker. She would explain all I needed to know about my father. we had a good time my brother Mark and I and my niece. We returned to Denver I worked at the airport at the time. I met a beautiful woman named Teresa, we hooked up she got pregnant we had a daughter first, then two sons and we got married but she could not handle it and left me to go back to her parents I was married she wasn't. I ended up meeting another woman and she got pregnant, and we lost that baby. Soon after that in the year 1988' my dad would succumb to a terrible car accident. he was in a coma for over (18) months I went to take care of him and look for this woman Mattie Dowell Baker. I was working I had transferred from Denver Int'l airport to Minnesota St. Paul Int'l airport. I saw a woman several times who had very beautiful green eyes and Hot! she would always be in the night clubs accepting awards on behalf of Prince I thought it was her but could never catch her until one night I bumped into her at Prince's good friend Gilbert Davidson's new club called The Glam Slam named after one of Prince's new songs. she knew this woman I was looking for one thing led to another, and we ended up sleeping together and soon I would be down on my luck about to lose my job and she asked me to move in with her and we would have a few intimate sexual encounters. She would eventually call Ms. Mattie Dowell who would come by meet me and invite us to a dinner and concert Prince was giving at the Glam Slam in 1990'. At this dinner I asked her what do i call you? she replied, you call me Aunt Mattie Dowell, I see you met my niece. She asked me did I have a girlfriend? I replied no while Shauntee' Lanee' was sitting next to me. She told me there are some things that I am going to tell you about your father and you're not going to like what you hear. My father later would end up dying and when my mother came for the funeral, she saw this Shauntee' Lanee' my mother made a loud comment at the funeral that Shauntee' Lanee' is another one of your dad's indiscretions. Look at her she looks just like your Aunt Josephine Pickett same green eyes they look like twins. So, I never told Aunt Mattie Dowell, that I was sleeping with her I did not know until my mother saw her and then I realized this woman could very well be my oldest half - sister I was sleeping with the whole time. I would end up leaving Minnesota return to Denver and get employment in the Security Field and end up working assisting the Secret Service meeting Vice President Biden and being a driver for Ray Charles e...
