About the Book

If you liked or hated Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code", you will like or hate a hundred times more Walant Froli´s "The death of sin and the human nature", mainly the volumes III and IV.Sean Marshal is a nice guy. He was always thinking of something to change people and the world for good. A few years ago, he and Trish da Silva had a great relationship, and at this time, founded "The Christian Intention", a non-profit religious studies organization, which was absolutely not a new variation of any religious denomination. The Christian Intention researches sacred works sources, and especially the Bible, through weekly meetings, held in different established communities. The number of members had already reached the house of a few million ones, which caused serious retaliation by envious people from other religious temples, including attempts to assassinate Sean, as well as threatening many members who attended those meetings. Soon after founding the first community meeting center and reaching many thousands members, Sean withdrew for particular reasons, moving away from the Christian Intention´s activities, returning after having met Ted Wallace, a good character and millionaire guy, interested in the project, who invested in the idea, founding several other offices in different cities. Reason why Trish got so surprised, once she had remained in the original community where the institution was founded, and several new offices have emerged, which were called communities. The headquarter office, where it all began was called "Zeus".Curiously and inexplicably, skills were assigned to Sean, which only emerged in moments of danger, that is, presented itself, regardless of his will. Skills of an expert martial arts fighter, every time when he was physically attacked or needed to defend some Christian Intention´s member. Only becoming aware of his actions, after the danger had been conjured, without being able to explain what had actually happened. This ability had faded without Sean realizing it, being replaced by another, also oblivious to his will, when all the attacks against him, even to murder, were frustrated and failed, in certain moments when he found himself face to face with someone pointing firearms direct to him, and literally pulling the trigger to dispatch him from this world once and for all.A third ability arose, also without explanation, differentiating from the others by the fact that this time he was aware of what was going on, and what to do in order to defend himself. It was called the "eagle´s gaze". He stares at his opponents and make them totally paralyzed, even when threatened by firearms.Time went by without he and Trish no longer had the intimate relationship as before, however, the excellent friendship between the two was maintained. They worked together for a long time on this pattern of relationship, until Sean finally decided to abandon "Zeus", The Christian Intention´s headquarters and go public, visiting and lecturing in other communities scattered in different cities. An inexplicable pain is the consequence for those who absolutely renounce the many routines of their materialistic lives. Realizing that human nature is a great obstacle in the Christian path, doesn´t letting us to be led to the Almighty God, and the biggest problem is that it is not a punctual pain. Because you do not know where it is located nor where it comes from, much less how to heal it, for when we begin to become real Christians, it seems that all the suffering of the world, becomes also ours. We put ourselves on all brothers and sisters´ shoes. All those whom we see suffering, whether by sickness, by injustice, by misery, etcetera. It is very painful to see our brothers suffer because of made up wars, many scattered throughout the world, only for wealth and power interests of a minority. It's the materialist's power greed.
