About the Book

The beloved Classic tale The Lion and the Mouse gets the Rhyming Read Aloud with a Reason treatment, delivering a strong moral values message focused on the very serious topics of Bullying, respect and consideration, in a fun enjoyable way at a Pre-kindergarten through First Grade level. The Day Lion Learned To Not Be a Bully is a great bedtime story too. This book is part of the new Rhyming Read Aloud for a Reason series, an offshoot resource just for parents from the Classrooms & Clubs Interactive Group Activities StoryLines and Puzzles teachers resource series. The parent edition, like the teachers resource, is geared towards encouraging growth in areas of social skills, vocabulary and communication, self worth and confidence. At the end of each book will be a parent resource section titled "Keep The Conversation Going" offering topical suggestions and tips for additional interaction and discussion. Like many of Ms. Paulsen's creations The Day Lion Learned To Not Be A Bully is reminiscent of the simple trademark style and message of goodness delivered by timeless children authors such as Shel Silverstien and Munro Leaf. As an added bonus Moms and Dads the simple line drawings can be colored by you or a relative or older sibling to add a very special and personal keepsake touch making this little book perfect for gift giving.
About the Author: Ms. Paulsen currently resides in Hogansville Georgia and is a mother and Grandmother who studied with the Redding Institute of Children's Literature of Connecticut. The author has spent the last decade of her life volunteering as an after school programs and summer activities coordinator. This book is part of the new pre-K -1st grade level Rhyming Read Aloud for a Reason series geared towards encouraging growth in areas of social skills, vocabulary and communication, self worth and confidence. At the end of each tale will be a parent resource section titled "Keep The Conversation Going" with suggestions and tips offering topics for additional interaction and discussion. Also be sure to look for new releases from the Classrooms and Clubs Interactive StoryLines and Puzzles Group Activities resource series designed for Pre K - 3rd Grade levels. These are valuable learning materials and like many of Ms. Paulsen's creations reminiscent of the simple trademark style and message of goodness delivered by the much beloved classical children authors such as Shel Silverstien and Munro Leaf. These they are the product and culmination of years of dedication and love.
