Diese sind strukturiert und bestehen aus Gruppen von Einzelpersonen, die kooperieren müssen um vereinbarte gemeinsame Ziele zu erreichen. In solchen Organisationen spielt das Bild des Menschen eine besondere Rolle. Es prägt die Entwicklung von Organisationsformen und -konzepten, Personalführung, Führungsmodellen und Managementtheorien maßgeblich. Entscheidender Faktor ist es für Fragen der Kooperation, Führungsdiskussionen, bei der Betrachtung individueller und organisationaler Ziele und Ideologien sowie im hierarchischen Umgang der Mitarbeiter. Das Bild, das sich Manager und Führungskräfte in Organisationen vom Menschen machen, resultiert aus der gesellschaftlichen Umwelt und individueller Eigenart und birgt schwerwiegende Auswirkungen auf Entscheidungen, Entschlüsse und Schlussfolgerungen sowohl für die Organisation als auch für den Menschen selbst.
