Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Sport, Sportpädagogik, Note: 1,7, Universität Bremen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Geht es bei der Umsetzung von mehr Bewegung im Schulalltag lediglich um ein zu lange aufgeschobenes Korrektiv zum Stillsitzen ganzer Generationen im Klassenraum? Hat der Sportpädagoge Lütgeharm gar Recht mit seiner Einschätzung, Schule sei [wegen des strukturell vorgegebenen Bewegungsmangels] ein "besonders gesundheitsgefährdendes soziales Umfeld" ? Bei einer quantitativ wie qualitativ angelegten Bestandsaufnahme zur Verbreitung und Verankerung von "Bewegung in der Schule" müsste man vermutlich feststellen, dass die Institution Schule im Alltagsverständnis immer noch mehr als Sitz- und Gesprächsraum denn als ein Bewegungsraum verstanden wird. Bewegung innerhalb der Schule findet in der Regel und nach wie vor in zweckbestimmten Räumen und zu streng vorgegebenen Zeiten statt, z.B. in Turnhallen, auf Schulhöfen, im Rahmen des Sportunterrichts, während der Pausen. Seit Mitte der 1980er Jahre ist man bemüht, diesem Anspruch gerecht zu werden und es wird - ausgehend von der Schweiz - nun auch hierzulande der Versuch unternommen, "einen Zusammenhang zwischen Bewegung, Gesundheit, Lernen und Schule herzustellen und zu begründen sowie auf der Grundlage der theoretischen Reflexion auch praktisch umzusetzen." Im Bundesland Niedersachsen ist man seit Mitte der 1990er Jahre dabei, die Schulen des Landes vom "Sitzdiktat" zu befreien. Dies geschieht zum Teil "von unten", auf pädagogische Eigeninitiative vor allem im Grundschulbereich, aber und vor allem auch "von oben" mit dem Niedersächsischen Kultusministerium als Initiator. Ein Beispiel einer solch "praktischen Umsetzung" im Lande Niedersachsen soll nun im Folgenden näher betrachtet werden. Es soll deutlich gemacht werden, inwiefern Bewegung in der Schule nicht etwa als reines Kompensations- und Funktionselement dient, sondern warum Bewegung als Bildungsmöglichkeit intendiert ist.
