Ci sono tre amori, tre storie, tre uomini con un destino incrociato tra passato, presente e futuro, tra amore, famiglia e dovere. Relazioni che si consolidano con la consapevolezza che non si può essere più gli stessi di prima. Un'altra corsa contro il tempo per un'anteprima di un finale pieno di rivelazioni e colpi di scena.
Rigorosamente collegato al libro seguente, che conclude il primo ciclo della saga, "La Danza degli Eroi" consacra la compagnia di danza di Boris Vertikov, svela le origini angeliche di Akim ma pure verità sconosciute e un futuro in bilico per via delle forze del male.
È il libro più ricco di arte e cultura della serie, dove l'autrice sposa più che mai elementi di religione, arte e folclore bilanciandoli con la trama romantica e la lotta tra bene e male.

Non è un libro facile questo sesto volume della saga degli Angeli Paolini, sicuramente non può essere letto come uno stand-alone. I contenuti sono sensibili da diversi punti di vista, quindi potrebbe risultare difficilmente comprensibile sotto certi aspetti, o sconvolgere sotto altri.

Sconsigliato ad un pubblico sensibile e destinato a lettori adulti e consapevoli. Come i precedenti, è un romanzo corredato di bibliografia, mai come in questo caso, estremamente appropriata.

Il romanzo contiene botte di cultura, botte da orbi, botte di vita e battute di Cassiopea. Oltre ad una quantità di bei ragazzi da consumare con parsimonia.

Lo stile di questi romanzi coniuga sapere teologico, storico-artistico, storia d'amore e azione. I libri di questa saga sono ricchi di personaggi ben caratterizzati e riconoscibili, a volte identificabili nei loro idiomi natale. Chi è alla ricerca di un romanzo senza impegno e con solo trama "romantica/sessuale", forse non è un pubblico adatto.

Nella battuta qui sopra sono condensati i contenuti: cultura, amore, spiritualità azione e anche sesso, ma non in esclusiva. E tanti personaggi impossibili da capire se non seguiti pedissequamente dal primo romanzo in poi.

Inoltre, nei romanzi sono trattati temi come religione, identità di genere e sessualità (talvolta esplicita), violenza, perdita, dipendenze, ansia e panico, morte. Convengo di aver trattato questi temi con la dovuta precauzione, ma se pensate di potervi turbare, allora sconsiglio la lettura.

Infine, questa saga presto subirà un grosso restyling, questi romanzi rimarranno come versioni precedenti a prova di essere stati scritti "prima", per evitare di essere tacciati di un "poi" ingiusto. Chi ha orecchi, intenda.
