About the Book

Join the author on an autobiographical international journey involving mystery, political intrigue and potential danger to us all Watch this once mild-mannered school teacher trying to make good on an innocent commitment, as she unravels the mystery of missing ocean containers full of humanitarian aid and ends up in the offices of US officials, working with ambassadors, and testifying before the United Nations. Naïve no more, Nancy Huff is anything but mild-mannered as she pleads with the world to return a stolen generation of Sahrawi refugees stranded in the middle of the Sahara Desert, caught between two political ideologies that have held them in exile for almost 40 years. Nancy shows how one person can make a difference in her quest for truth. Filled with hopelessness the Sahrawis are targets for al Qaeda recruitment along with drug and human trafficking that will soon affect every part of the globe in a very dangerous way.
About the Author: ABOUT NANCY HUFF A former teacher in public and private schools for thirteen years, Nancy has a B. S. in Mathematics and a Master's degree in English as a Second Language. She is Founder and President of Teach the Children International (TCI), a nonprofit organization that reaches out to children at risk in the United States and abroad. TCI is committed to helping children in crisis by providing educational programs and humanitarian aid that enhance the lives of children and their families. TCI sponsored refugee programs for the Kosovar in Macedonia and Albania. TCI established a school for Sudanese Refugee Children in Cairo, Egypt. From 1999 to 2007, Nancy worked with the Sahrawi who live in Tindouf, Algeria. She facilitated over 30 containers of humanitarian aid into the Tindouf camps. In 2007, she began her work in Morocco with the Sahrawis who never left the country. In 2010, TCI presented seminars on Ethics and Conflict Resolution at the request of the governor of LaAyoune in Southern Morocco. She has visited over 50 US Congressmen and Congress women in order to educate them on the Sahrawi issue. She has spoken at the United Nations IV committee for ten years and once at the UN in Geneva, Switzerland. She speaks on college campuses, at civic group meetings and at churches about the plight of the Sahrawis. Recently TCI received a grant to produce 10 TV programs for the Sahrawis with the purpose of resolving conflict and getting the Sahrawi to return to their homeland of Southern Morocco. Nancy is a conference speaker. She also writes magazine articles and books about education and children's issues to raise awareness and promote public involvement in meeting the needs of children at home and abroad.
