Poemas para una dama rubia.

Se ha dicho certeramente que la poesía no sirve para nada toda vez que no produce dinero ni rinde corazones femeninos; no obstante el hecho de leerla y escribirla puede causar una adicción terminal que desafía toda lógica y los mejores consejos de nuestros padres y maestros.
Lo cierto es que la poesía ha arruinado a más personas que la búsqueda de la piedra filosofal, los juegos de cartas y las carreras de caballos ya que el dios Apolo y las nueve musas ejercen sus inalienables privilegios y su culto está muy lejos de morir.
Nada más fácil que reconocer al poeta por un vago aire de locura, escribiendo en una libreta, una servilleta o en la etiqueta que ha despegado de su botella de cerveza, o vagando, si llueve o hace mal tiempo, por el parque, los cementerios y muchos sitios que evita la mayoría de las personas.
Dedicado a mi querida amiga, Marissa Chávez, cuando la cortejaba durante los funestos días en los que trabajábamos en Televisa, el pequeño poemario "Dama cisne" NO está dividido en tres ambientes, como la mayoría de mis florilegios, y se compone de 20 poemas isosilábicos.
El librito, cuyo tiraje inicial fue de un ejemplar que tal vez conserve Marissa, arranca con los siguientes dodecasílabos:

Podría hablar de los rostros silenciosos,
de los ecos perdidos en la memoria
y del lejano graznido de las aves.

Atravesar puertos cubiertos de bruma
donde me atormenta una tristeza abstracta
de canciones ahogadas por anchos muros.

Hay anhelos sin nombre a los que doy forma
de mujer, de chispas, bosques y ciudades,
mas plenitud, absoluto es imposible,
es un grito repetido entre la nieve,
entre las altas montañas... desoladas.

Para que no se diga que soy un poeta absolutamente moderno (lo que sería una aberración antipoética) el lector encontrará dos estancias trasnochadas que siguen el modelo de Quevedo, una de las cuales se cita a continuación:

Alquimia de vapores y fantasmas,
amanecía con frágiles rumores de la lluvia...

Esos dulces fantasmas
prendieron éter en mi fantasía
con tu belleza rubia
de néctar y ambrosía...

Mi soledad escuchaba el lamento
que arrastra por los árboles el viento,
y cesaron las viejas emociones
y mi tristeza, añeja como el mar,
se transformó en plumajes y canciones
que ardían con el ansia de plasmar
la distancia, los sueños, las visiones.

Los amantes de los pasteles de crema, de los efectos dramáticos y la cursilería en general están de plácemes, y para muestra un botón:

Entonces todo era silencio,
profundo silencio invitando
a oficiar como sacerdote
de pálidas lunas y otoños,
y aprendía a envidiar de los árboles
su constante copa de muerte.

Cuando me cerraste las puertas
atiné a lamer mis heridas,
y ese frío de la montaña
soplaba constante en mi rostro,
con el mensaje del invierno
aderezado por la lluvia.

Entonces todo era silencio,
profundo silencio invitando
a detenerse y escuchar
el lento caer de las hojas
entre desvanecidas aguas
de arroyuelos turbios y helados.

Hubiese querido gritar
lo mucho que ya te extrañaba,
y el dolor del falso recuerdo
por los instantes compartidos
-esos momentos que inventé-
sueños que para ti son nada.

Entonces todo era silencio,
profundo silencio invitando
a recorrer con mi tristeza
las húmedas, vacías calles
por donde pasan los fantasmas,
mis tercos espectros de ausencia.
