ABOUT THE BOOK
DAD'S DESK tells a story about the love and admiration a girl has for her father. From early childhood, the girl is fascinated by her father's desk and its use by him, and as she grows up she uses the desk herself, first to help her father with his work and later for her own writing. DAD'S DESK is a heart-warming story about a close child-parent bond and the continuity of family values.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
DAD'S DESK is the sixteenth book on which Judith Weinshall Liberman, the author, has collaborated with Gau Family Studio, the illustrator. They had previously collaborated on THE LITTLE SONGBIRD, THE BIRD WHO WENT TO HEAVEN, THE GIRL AND THE PIGEONS, WHAT WILL I BE?, LUCY AND THE SNOWMAN, IF I HAD A LITTLE SISTER, IF I WERE A MOM, THE SECRET, SHOP AND SHOP, RONNIE'S ALARM CLOCK, YOUR GRANDPA, MY BIRTHDAY, THE FUTURE, QUEEN ESTHER, and on THE KING. Since Ms. Liberman did not feel that, in view of her deteriorated eyesight, she could do justice to illustrating DAD'S DESK herself, she turned to Gau Family Studio to create the illustrations under the author's guidance. In the present book, Gau Family Studio beautifully captures the spirit of the story and of its characters.
