Tác giả tên thật là Hà Quang Trung, bút hiệu Miko

Hà, sinh trưởng tại một làng quê miền Tây tỉnh

Kiên Giang trong một Gia đình Công Giáo người

Bắc di cư. Thưở nhỏ ông theo học tại các trường

làng. Năm 1979 ông đỗ đầu trong kỳ thi Học Sinh

Giỏi Văn 9 Tỉnh Kiêng Giang và đại diện tỉnh tham

gia kỳ thi Học Sinh Giỏi Văn Toàn Quốc. Năm 1980

ông rời ghế nhà trường khi vừa học xong lớp 10 bắt

đầu hành trình vượt biển tìm tự do. Sau mười lần

vượt biển, bốn lần vào tù và hai lần vượt ngục ông đến được trại tỵ nan

Pulau Bidong tháng 4 năm 1981, sáu tháng sau ông định cư tại thành phố

Halifax, Canada.

Năm 22 tuổi ông vào lớp 12 trường trung học Cole Harbour và hoàn thành

chương trình trung học. Sau đó ông tốt nghiệp Cử Nhân Khoa Học tại

trường đại học Saint Mary, Halifax, Nova Scotia rồi Cử Nhân Kỹ Sư Cơ

Khí tại trường đại học kỹ thuật Technical University of Nova Scotia.

Năm 1996 ông sang Hoa Kỳ làm việc với chiếu khán Chuyên Gia Kỹ Thuật,

trong thời gian này ông đã tham gia hoàn thành việc sản xuất trái bom

thông minh ATG (air to ground) cho không lực Hoa Kỳ. Ông trở thành

thương gia năm 2018.

Ông là một nhà văn với tác phẩm đầu tay Memoir Of A Communist

Escapee (Hồi Kí Người Đào Thoát Cộng Sản) xuất bản tại Hoa Kỳ tháng 6

năm 2018. Ngoài ra ông còn sáng tác nhiều thơ và nhạc. Ông hiện định cư

tại thành phố Winter Haven, Florida, Hoa Kỳ.
