Es soll untersucht werden, inwieweit die Versicherungsunternehmen durch den Einsatz einer künstlichen Intelligenz die Customer Experience ihrer Kunden wandeln können und welche Bedeutung diese für ein Unternehmen besitzt. Ziel ist es zu ergründen, ob die Implementierung einer künstlichen Intelligenz in Form eines Chatbots als Reaktion auf veränderte Kundenansprüche für Versicherungsunternehmen als sinnvoll erachtet werden kann. Hierfür werden anhand von aktueller Fachliteratur theoretische Grundlagen gelegt und anschließend mittels eines empirischen Experiments praktisch überprüft. Im Zuge der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die Wichtigkeit der Kundenzufriedenheit im zunehmenden Wettbewerb und die Notwendigkeit einer digitalen Transformation der Versicherer aufgezeigt. Hierbei wird die künstliche Intelligenz, im speziellen in Form eines Chatbots, zukünftig eine entscheidende Rolle in der Interaktion zwischen Kunden und Unternehmen einnehmen. Chatbots können dabei helfen die Customer Experience der Kunden zu optimieren und erweisen sich als Gewinn für beide Seiten der Geschäftsbeziehung.
