I have carefully constructed this book using sound principles of teaching. Think of this method as teaching a child to write the alphabet one letter at a time, only not in alphabetical order. Your child must practice each letter and master it before moving to the next. That is why I recommend that each child also has Book 2 in this series, "The Big Practice Book for Lined Cursive Writing," for his or her additional practice.

This cursive handwriting book is divided into three parts.

Part 1 - Tracing and Writing the Cursive Alphabet in Lower and Uppercase from A - Z

Part 2 - Cursive Writing Numbers, Colors, Seasons, Months, and Names

.Part 3 - Writing Short Words and Sentences in Cursive

In this book, your child will have plenty of opportunities to trace each letter of the alphabet with built-in practice. As they advance through the book, they will write in cursive their name, short words, and then complete sentences. For additional practices, the book contains a limited number of practice worksheets in the back.
