Le cycle PDCA est indispensable pour mettre en place un cercle vertueux d'amélioration continue. - Management Visuel: La gestion visuelle sur le terrain, associée aux rituels de rencontres régulières avec les équipes permet d'impliquer l'ensemble des collaborateurs dans la démarche. -Gemba: Gemba est l'endroit ou se passe l'action; les managers, les directeurs doivent se rendre sur le terrain, dans les ateliers pour comprendre et résoudre les problèmes avec les équipes -Leadership Lean: Un leader Lean pratique le leadership serviteur; il est au service de son équipe et de ses collaborateurs. -Standardisation: Standardiser les tâches opérationnelles, administrative et managériales sont aussi une des bases du Lean. -Implication du Personnel: Le lean a 2 objectifs complémentaires: la rentabilité de l'entreprise et donc sa pérennité, et le développement et l'épanouissement des collaborateurs. -Le "5S": C'est l'outil indispensable pour se lancer dans une démarche Lean; il va apporter la rigueur en travaillant sur les gaspillages.
