About the Author: Mi nacimiento fue una incorporación tardía a mi familia, que, desde aquel viernes 14 de junio del 91 en el que mi madre casi me da a luz en su oficina, con el rímel disuelto entre lágrimas de esfuerzo y todo desdibujado por su cara, no han dejado de apoyar mis proyectos y facilitar mis pasos por los caminos que he decidido recorrer. Gracias al empeño de mi padre empecé a escribir a ordenador antes incluso de saber sujetar un lápiz, y con el apoyo de familiares y sus amigos desvelé los secretos de la lectura antes incluso de entrar en parvulitos. Ya entonces, según me cuentan, mi pasión por las letras era patente. A decenas de cuentos ilustrados e historias en vivo di vida desde aquel momento, todo ello traspapelado o llevado con el viento hasta que decidiera, a los 12, que escribir era para mí más que un pasatiempo, un futuro. A esa tierna edad, con un cuaderno de cuartilla y un bolígrafo de kukuxumusu reservado en exclusiva comencé el que sería "mi proyecto" por excelencia. Inspirado en mis fantasías adolescentes "Loomond" fue tomando forma año tras año hasta convertirse hoy, diez años después, en ATduE, una historia a la que quiero demasiado como para ponerle punto y final. Pero mis inicios en la universidad, el traslado a Tokio para estudiar en la Universidad de Tokio de Estudios Extranjeros (TUFS) y, sobre todo, la pérdida de mi padre, paralizaron por completo mi hábito de escritura. No sería hasta que a finales de 2012, con el inicio de mis estudios de Ciencia Política, que retomaría la pluma y el tintero para concentrarme en una obra de carácter transversal: Cuentos de Luna Roja, fruto de decenas de notas sobre otras de mis historias. Tras un par de años dando forma a los ocho relatos que componen la obra, llegó la fecha de que saliera al fin a la luz, coincidiendo con una nueva estancia, esta vez en Australia, para asistir a la Universidad de Queensland. Y aunque los quehaceres universitarios siguen ocupando mi tiempo, y una nueva estancia, becada por la UNESCO, en la "Universidad del Desierto" en Omán está a la vista, sigo adelantando poco a poco mis proyectos, los cuales espero que, más pronto que tarde, puedan ver la luz.
