The Critter Family book series is a continuing story of a family who unintentionally created a critter family full of different breeds of critters each joining the group one-at-a-time under different circumstances. The critters are drawn to the family for caring and safety and then drawn into friendship with other critters. The Critter Family generates excitement by the fun-loving manner and lively activities of so many different types of critters and draws the interest of all ages. Each critter made close friends with one or two other critters, yet each one looked out for the others in the group. In the end, these critters were easy to love!

-- Living on a farm, we really enjoyed this animal filled tale! Each chapter introduces a new animal and at the end, gives interesting facts about the animal. Loved the marvelous antics between the animals and the human family that loves them.
-- The Critter Family: The Fun Begins is such a fun read. It might be more for a child in the 8-10 year range. But, hey, I'm a grandpa and I enjoyed it. I have some property in the country and couldn't help but think of our animals in reading this book. It's an absolute must read for a child in the target age-range or a grandpa who is looking for a fun book to read to his grandchildren!!
-- Truly enjoyed getting to know the characters in the series. It was so easy to relate to each of them, and it will be easy for your children to understand and follow the stories. My favorite is Hal. Lastly, I like the way the mechanics of the introduction reveals the building blocks of being yourself and making friends. I am looking forward to the rest of the books and lessons.
