CRITICISM: Everyone receives it. Everyone gives it
CRITICISM
We hate to receive it, but we relish handing it out. It tears us down when it comes our way and has a tendency to build us up when we hand it out to others.
Criticism: Friend or Foe is designed to lay the groundwork for correct criticism in all areas of life. Doug Murren offers help for those who suffer from harsh and destructive criticism and provides steps to take to say no to unhealthy criticism.
The book also shows how skilled criticism is the backbone of all healthy organizations. You will learn how to recognize needed criticism as a friend-not an enemy-and you will also learn how to reject destructive criticism.
Criticism: friend or Foe will accomplish four things:
* It lays down steps to giving needed criticism.
* It provides skills to shut down destructive criticism.
* It furnishes helpful tools for giving of healthy criticism.
* It gives guidance to healing when damaging criticism occurs.
