About the Book
"If you don't believe in God, in the face of your crisis, where will you turn?" This book offers a prophetical explanation to address America's mortgage and economic meltdown. Some people do not believe in the presence, provision, purpose, or power of an awesome, sovereign God that brought forth all things and will return all things back unto Himself. Others do. Some believe in nothingness, as was described of the young man Jared Loughner, who perpetrated a violent act against those he saw as worthless, like Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, a living miracle, and others who tragically lost their lives in Tucson, Arizona in January of 2011. More doubt that there is any purpose to life besides the pursuit of wealth and happiness while on Earth, and more who choose to believe that life is a natural process, paying homage to the beauty and magnificence of her cycles of rebirth. Unless one has experienced a near death reality, most of us cannot know for sure what happens after death, but biblically, it is written that first there is death, then the judgment. However, for those who do not believe in a power that is very present, the story contained within is a demonstration of what that power, that force, can and will do for those who seek, trust, and depend on IT for deliverance in any crisis situation. Since the economic crisis that really rolled in by 2008, it has become apparent just how many of us have been slaves without really knowing it. We have been slaves to notions of superiority, which justified the ill-treatment of our neighbors. When the recession was in full force by the end of 2009, we found out just how many of us were in bondage to wealth, power, and prestige. Exposed was the fact that many of us had built our futures on a sandpile of mounting debt just to keep up with the Joneses and our peers, all the while being unsuspectingly shaped by a savage world that has tailored our opinions and attitudes about ourselves. We believed that the more we had, the better we were than those who historically have been considered the poor and the outcast. And under no circumstance did any care to be classified among the least. But, by the time 2010 really got underway, when more of us were let go from the job and we had to stand in the food lines with those we always considered less fortunate, when we had to sell our worldly goods to pay the bills, and often got the big toys repossessed before the house was foreclosed on, we saw just how easy the fall from grace could be. Revealed was the fact that many of us were not only greedy, high-minded, and relatively bigoted, but moreso, we had based our self-image on what we owned, rather than on the image that we were made of in the likeness of the Creator. While many debate incessantly as to how things got this bad off, who's at fault, as well as try to come up with workable solutions to address the dilemmas faced, Crisis & Deliverance: An Exercise of Obedience offers an opportunity for those who do not believe to come to the revelation that perhaps there is a real Divine Spirit that requires acknowledgment. According to prophecy observers, what is occurring in the world are signs written in text penned long ago, and may well indicate that it might be time for non-believers to reconsider the spiritual ramifications of moral decay and scriptural disobedience. In it you will be provided with yet another example of a former slave's capacity to demonstrate that violence is only one weapon to be used against the Pharaoh of injustice and oppression. The reader will witness the prophetic power of transformation through obedience, to liberate a courageous servant of humanity from the shackled and limited mindset of a fearful and violently shaped slave. After reading this book the life of the witness will be changed, for no longer will you be able to turn a blind eye to the obvious! The weapons of God's warfare are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongh
About the Author: The author is a contemporary twenty-first century prophetic writer who has been living in the northern region of California for the last two decades. A former military brat who has been afforded the opportunity of living among peoples of many backgrounds and nationalities, she has interests in the development of social relations, personal awareness, ethnic diversity, and most interestingly, biblical prophecy. As one who desires to see more improved race relations in America's communities and has heard others share their trying stories of painful experience, along with courageous examples of strength and hope for a better tomorrow, she has been writing a non-fictional work for the past decade that encompasses historical facts, current happenings, and speaks to events of a prophetical nature concerning the issues of race, religion, politics, and poverty in America. A vicarious writer who is an alumnus of Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, has a special interest in the curriculum of religion and history, and has had a multiplicity of encounters exploring prophecy and metaphysics. A direct descendant of Josiah Henson, known pejoratively as Uncle Tom from the early nineteenth century, she, too, has been shaped by oppression and misdirection in a world full of racism and bigotry, but desires to release the mindset of a slave mentality to evolve into the humble status of the servant, as requested of those who would follow Jesus Christ. Born in 1963 just months before the assassination of JFK, she is the product of a disconnected union of parents overwhelmed by the impositions of the Civil Rights era. After many years of research she has discovered her genealogy, retold her family's history in this written account, and has encouraged others to discover their hidden sagas. Hers is a legacy of struggle, faith, and endurance that she, too, leaves for successive generations of her family heritage following the example of her ancestor, who historically made great strides and sacrifices throughout his life to advance the development of the black race. Motivated by a desire to see a world free of bigotry and division, she writes from the wellspring of experience, weaving new tales of a prophetic nature, witnessing words manifest into reality. As she paints new pictures of a vibrantly diverse society, she becomes more seasoned and mature from the lessons learned from a shattered past.
