About the Book

The following is a sample of the book, Crickets and Fireflies, taken from chapter seven:10/3/2015 -- Age: 42 Many souls are not used to experiencing the light spread out and morphed the way it is in this world. Those on the Autism Spectrum experience a kind of compressing or shrinking down of the hugeness and vastness of who they are into something they are not accustomed to being. It is not easy to explain, and it is not easy to experience. They come from non-duality and pure being into a place where the collective intention and purpose is not clear. What are we doing collectively as a society? What am I supposed to do as an individual other than simply to be, to experience the beauty of the human experience, and to express openly and freely the truth, the love, the light, and the authenticity of the gift that is myself? They are huge in a small universe. They literally do not fit, and the ways of the world are trivial -- its politics, its religions, its wants, and everything else which comes with it. This is not a complaint or merely an observation. This is an experience and can only be understood from a "place" of non-duality. The separation is an illusion. The universe, as they try to fit into it, is too small. Purity of being is the reality. Love, non-duality, is the way, the truth, and the life. Divine creation is magical. The world does not reflect divine creation. The world is an impediment to the magic. Creation without the world is immaculate.--This is a life presentation of Nathan Stewart. Brief though it may be, it is brimming with the kind of material, profound in nature, and sufficiently meaningful to anyone who is interested in the experience of one who was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 40, of one who lived his life not knowing he had Autism, and of one who attempted in any way to fuse two different worlds -- an inner, richly spiritual world, and an outer physical world which seemed alien to him. There are nuggets of intangible yet deeply palpable accounts of his experiences, valuable information to anyone who seeks the wisdom and the understanding such a soul may carry -- careful observations of the world, a heart to heart connection with nature and with animals, a reservoir of knowledge which can only be met and conveyed by the spirits which guide him. Except, it is through him and by him that the spirits speak, and it is his own soul in its human experience that the words are written. What is love? This is a question which is not answered in the mind alone. No. The heart must answer the question through direct experience, which is the feeling, and the mind united with the heart to offer something of an explanation, or a dissertation, of the feeling with as much accuracy as is possible for a human in its experience. Nathan Stewart endeavors to communicate his experiences with the inner self to as many people as can be reached who desire to understand life in its essence, at least in how he has experienced Autism and Eternity within his human experience. He does not hold back. He only makes assumptions when assumptions are necessary. Everything is presented with a whole heart and an open mind. If there is message, then the message is told. If there is a story, then the story is told. And, in the telling, all is revealed, and the only regret he would have is if the revelation did not reach the one who would hear. There are questions to be asked. There are answers waiting. Like an ancient book of wisdom on the library shelf, if there are none to open it, then it sits in silence. Here is the book. His life's story may be a promise, a challenge, an inspiration to any other life's story. One may shudder in anger. Another may come to understand what is beyond the human experience. Nathan's may be seen as a journey and of how he transformed during and after experiences, of what he learned in communion with all things living, and of what he gleaned from the human experience. With blessings of love.
