Ha svolto i lavori più disparati. Scrive per vari blog e periodici online. Il primo romanzo che ha scritto è stato Il crepuscolo dei gargoyle (di genere fantasy, pubblicato nel 2012), seguito da Il Signore dei sogni (romanzo filosofico pubblicato nel 2011), poi da Mare di ombre (raccolta di poesie del 2013) e da L'icore umano (racconti, 2012). Il racconto che dà il titolo a quest'ultima raccolta ha vinto il secondo premio nel concorso "Lettere in aria" (2011). Nel 2012 è stato rappresentato da uno degli agenti letterari più importanti in Italia, grazie al suo romanzo di realismo magico: Macerie (scritto nel 2011 e pubblicato nel 2014 con un editore). Macerie è stato tradotto da Raphael Hernández Aguilar e da Marina Riva López nel 2019 con il titolo El hombre sin memoria; Nel 2018 l'autore ha pubblicato In fondo al mare la luna (romanzo di letteratura del mare), e nel 2019 la traduzione di Zarco, romanzo di Ignacio Manuel Altamirano, considerato il padre della letteratura messicana. A questa traduzione ha fatto seguito la traduzione di Clemencia, sempre di Altamirano (2020).L'autore ha inoltre ricevuto menzioni speciali ed è stato pubblicato in antologie di poeti contemporanei. Nutre un forte interesse per la letteratura, la filosofia e l'economia. Per anni ha praticato karate e trekking. Assieme alla giornalista Martha Bernal ha tradotto per conto dell'autore il romanzo El País de la canela di William Ospina, con il titolo Il Paese della cannella.
