Il 2020/21 è stato un periodo unico, la pandemia ha invaso tutti domini della nostra esistenza e, oltre agli aspetti dolorosi, ci siamo trovati a gestire "l'incertezza" quotidiana personale e istituzionale.
Anche l'Università è stata travolta dalla pandemia e l'anno accademico 2020-2021 è stato caratterizzato dalla coesistenza di brevi periodi di lezioni in presenza e la maggior parte delle lezioni a distanza.
Il corso di Marketing sociale della Magistrale in Comunicazione Pubblica e d'Impresa (Facoltà di Scienza politiche - Bologna) è contraddistinto dal lavoro sul campo con le comunità locali, il terzo settore e le istituzioni; gli studenti del corso, divisi in gruppi di lavoro, hanno sviluppato piani di marketing sociale (non soltanto teorico) su temi ambientali, sociali o di salute.
La didattica a distanza sembrava incompatibile con questa metodologia e la mancanza di un rapporto diretto tra gli studenti e il docente ha fatto sentire il suo peso all'inizio del corso.
Poi ho imparato a lavorare con gli strumenti digitali e, con gli studenti, ho ridisegnato il corso e i gruppi di lavoro hanno trovato di volta in volta soluzioni operative originali.
Anche quando si sono trovati a collaborare da città e da paesi diversi (dalla Cina alla Turchia) sono riusciti a costruire un progetto integrato.
Alla fine del corso hanno raggiunto competenze uguali o superiori agli studenti degli anni precedenti e hanno espresso grande soddisfazione rispetto all'offerta formativa che hanno sperimentato. Molti di loro continuano a collaborare come volontari a progetti di marketing sociale.
L'eccezionalità dell'esperienza vissuta mi ha spinto a pubblicare gli elaborati presentati dai gruppi alla fine del corso; ero partito dagli elaborati migliori ma poi ho deciso di inserire tutti i partecipanti perché, anche se con modalità diverse, rappresentano un esempio di resilienza e genialità dei giovani di fronte a una catastrofe epocale dove il mondo non sempre si è mosso pensando a loro e alle future generazioni.
Questa raccolta, oltre a diffondere la conoscenza del marketing sociale, vuole rimanere anche una testimonianza positiva per come abbiamo vissuto l'anno accademico 2020-2021.
