Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Gesundheit - Sport - Sportsoziologie, Note: 1,0, Universität Stuttgart, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit der folgenden Forschungsfrage: Inwiefern und unter welchen Vorbedingungen sind die zunehmend ausgeprägten CSR-Aktivitäten deutscher Profifußballclubs in organisationssoziologischer Perspektive zu erklären? Der deutsche Profifußball will nachhaltiger werden. So trivial diese Absicht angesichts sich global intensivierender ökologischer und sozial-ökonomischer Krisen erscheint, geht sie dennoch als ein zentrales Ergebnis aus der durch die Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH (DFL) gegründeten "Taskforce Zukunft Profifußball" hervor. Im veröffentlichten Abschlussbericht wird wörtlich proklamiert, dass "Nachhaltigkeit in allen Dimensionen [...] Grundlage der Geschäftstätigkeit von DFL und Clubs der Bundesliga und der 2. Bundesliga sein [soll]". Indem Nachhaltigkeit ab der Saison 2023/24 in bislang unbekannter Ausarbeitung gar als obligatorisches Lizenzierungskriterium für alle 36 Proficlubs eingeführt wird, unterliegen bislang freiwillige Handlungen fortan einer lizenzierungsrelevanten Bewertung. Ein Meilenstein in einer Entwicklung, in der die Organisationen des Profifußballs von den an sie gestellten Umwelterwartungen hinsichtlich gesellschaftlicher Verantwortungsübernahme erst spät erfasst wurden. Doch die Kritikpunkte am modernen Fußball sind derweil so zahlreich wie divers. Auf der anderen Seite stellen sich unterdessen die unter dem Schlagwort CSR gefassten Initiativen der Clubs und der DFL ebenso mannigfaltig dar, erwähnten "Postulaten" zu begegnen. Seit 2008 behandelt beispielsweise die DFL mittels einer eigens dazu installierten Stiftung in drei Schwerpunkten speziell soziale Aspekte. Außerdem haben sich bei über der Hälfte der Clubs unlängst eigene auf die Bearbeitung von CSR ausgerichtete Abteilungen, Hilfsvereine und gemeinnützige GmbHs (gGmbh) ausdifferenziert.
