About the Book

The book offers a contemporary exposition of the advanced and sophisticated assisted reproductive techniques that have evolved through the decade. It suitably emphasizes those techniques that primarily employ molecular genetics and would give assisted reproductive treatment an evidence-based approach. This would help overcome failures by minimizing wastage, maximizing the efficiency of treatment, and thus decrease the time to conception. KEY FEATURES While enlightening the reader on the future prospects that infertility management holds, the book lays a platform on which facts can be weighed against fiction, the riddles that obscure treatment solved, and further research contemplated. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is introspective in design and prods the author to re-evaluate the efficacy and implications that any novel choice of treatment would have. With its contemporary approach and authoritative exposition, this book will serve as an extremely useful reference for clinicians, researchers and students in the area of obstetrics, gynecology and infertility management. The contributors of various chapters are nationally and internationally acclaimed clinicians and scientists who have created a niche for themselves in their respective fields with several landmark publications to their credit.
