We are all striving for success. At least, most of us. However, how many of us realise that success is impossible without the right mindset? That in order to move forward we need to remove the major block standing in our way. That stumbling block has many parts to it - indecision, lack of courage and insecurity, all of which come under one name - confidence.
Some of us misunderstand the word "confidence" mistaking it for arrogance, selfishness and lack of care for other people's interests. True confidence is a trait we all need if we want to progress in life. It involves a firm belief in ourselves and our abilities, courage, determination, and a burning desire to succeed.
We need to define success here. What is it? I guess it's many things to many people. To some, it means raising happy, thriving children and having a loving, peaceful home. To others, it means being good at what they love doing most. To their friends, it could mean succeeding with their business. And yet to another group of people, it could mean all of those things.
Confidence and self-belief are key to success. Many people lack this very important quality, which is the main reason they find it difficult to make progress in life. Sometimes it is rooted in childhood and lack of parental, school and peer support. Sometimes it is caused by our own self-talk and lack of courage. Whatever the reason, we can build it up and create a life we want and deserve.
Creating a new habit (and I believe that confidence is a habit, not simply a personality trait) takes time and consistency. Consistency can only be achieved by following through with what we are working on, and this means recording our progress.
This planner has been designed to help you plan how to build up your confidence over a year's time and start turning your life around. Most of all, it's meant to encourage you to act. You deserve to live the life of your dreams, so start doing it now! You don't have to wait till January to begin changing your life.
While the planner can be used 100% on its own, I also have a journal under the same name. It will help you journal your thoughts and ideas since the planner has limited space for those (being a planner).
