About the Book

This concordance presents all the words in the 129 audiences from Sept 5th 1979 to Nov 28th 1984 given by the esteemed Pope on his theology of the Body. Each word used in the audiences is given an entry in the concordance. Under each word entry the audience number and paragraph number were that word occurs in the audience is given for each audience that uses that word. If a word occurred more than once in an audience or paragraph number, its count was repeated under the word entry. The footnotes were not included in the concordance. Words with an apostrophe such as 'man's' were considered a separate entry from the non-possessive form of the word (man). For audiences that have not been divided into official paragraph numbers the entire text was given a paragraph number of [0]. In audiences that have official paragraph numbers any introductory or title information it was given a paragraph number [0] also. Additional entries have been created to differentiate the occasional person such as under the word John (Saint John of the Cross vs. Pope Saint John Paul II). The concordance is based upon the English translation provided by Liberia Editrice Vaticana on the Holy See website. Where no English translation existed we have strived to provide an accurate translation. Titles of Books or proper names are often given a brief description. The books of the Bible refenced within the text have been identified.
