Dr. Sarkar has published more than 25 research articles in various journals of national and international repute. His research areas include data mining, parallel computing, and evolutionary computing.
|SWAPAN KUMAR CHAKRABORTY, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Mathematics, BIT, Mesra, Ranchi. An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, he has about 30 years of academic experience. He has guided many research scholars and published more than 50 research papers in various journals of international repute. His research interest includes seismology, rock mechanics, earthquake engineering, and heat transfer. Dr. Chakraborty has carved out a niche in the field of his areas of research. He is also a member of the Indian Society for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and the Indian National Science Congress Association.
