"Whether I'm writing, cartooning, drawing, crafting or painting, I love playing with words, pictures and a variety of materials and colors. I quite willingly get lost in the creative process and brainstorming ideas. Patterns, texture, design, stringing words together, playing with color, finding humor in unexpected places, all of it! My passion is to uniquely communicate, inspire and stimulate hearts and minds through ideas, humor and wonder. I believe art speaks."
April was born in Santa Monica, California, transplanted in the Pacific Northwest and replanted in Northwest Arkansas where she lives (and blooms) with her amazing husband and ridiculously adorable dog, Oliver.
