Einleitung Überall dort, wo identisch zwei- oder mehrsprachige Personen miteinander kommunizieren, werden besondere Interaktionsstrategien und -formen gebildet - unabhängig davon, in welchem Medium die Kommunikation stattfindet. Sprachkontaktphänomene treten auf der ganzen Welt unter unterschiedlichsten Sprachen sowie Sprachvarietäten auf. Eines von ihnen, das weltweit überall dort vorkommt, wo mehrsprachige Personen miteinander in Kontakt treten, ist Code-switching. Die Vielfalt des Phänomens Code-switching hat dazu geführt, dass die Forschung zu diesem Thema im Laufe der Zeit interdisziplinär geworden ist und machte aus ihm eines der heutzutage wahrscheinlich am meisten untersuchten Sprachkontaktphänomenen überhaupt. Trotzdem hat sich an einer Tendenz immer noch kaum etwas geändert - Code-switching wird meistens als ein für die gesprochene Sprache typisches Phänomen dargestellt. Code-switching in der geschriebenen Sprache bleibt dagegen oft unerwähnt (mit Ausnahme weniger Aufsätze und Pilotstudien). Um einen neuen Beitrag zu der Forschung auf dem Gebiet des Code-switchings zu leisten, hat die vorliegende Arbeit zum Ziel, die "geschriebene" Seite von Code-switching zu untersuchen und dies im Bereich der Internetkommunikation, die über die Zeit- und Raumgrenzen hinweg Menschen verbindet und sich durch Mehrsprachigkeit auszeichnet. Dieser Mehrsprachigkeit begegnet man im Cyberspace in den unterschiedlichsten Erscheinungsformen. Eine davon bilden die sog. Ethno-Portale, die sich an verschiedene ethnische Gruppen richten und längst zum beliebten Ort der internen Kommunikation unter meist jungen Migranten geworden sind.
