About the Book

Code Name Dawson is the last book in the "Egg Breaker War" Series within the GMJ Series. It has been a long road for Angelique Dawson, the brilliant onetime South African Secret Service Head of Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Espionage. After her illegal detention in 2012 and subsequent escape and defection to France (Code Name VFO565), she came back to deal with unfinished business. The "Egg Breaker War" kicked off with a surprise attack on the households of the narrator in the GMJ Books, Geoffrey Foxtrot and his best friend, legendary Special Forces officer, Geelslang Peter Ndebele, both were her star agents in the past (Code Name Pour Angelique). Angelique is now married to her soul, Foxtrot, the current Egg Breaker ground commander and former Police Special Forces Company Commander. She is also expecting their twins, Lise and Odette whilst acting as the Egg Breaker commander. Action packed, she must face her old colleagues and negotiate peace, which is not the same as surrendering. Surrendering is easy, you give up and ask for mercy and may even get it if not surrendering to the Russians, Chinese, Japanese and Third World Forces - they have their own ideas of the Genève Conventions on War (see Code Name Alphabet 32 where World War Two POW treatment is discussed). If there is one lesson in the GMJ Series which readers keep on coming back to me with letters is that they were never aware of what they are facing down south. But Angelique knows. She was a member of the South African Secret Service (and its predecessor) for 28 years, 14 of which as a senior officer, and so she is well aware of what shenanigans they are up to. Foxtrot does not wish to negotiate anything. He heard that a special team was formed to kill Angelique Dawson-Foxtrot. As expected by now, between Geelslang and himself, they go on the hunt. Attack is always the best policy in their eyes. In the background, Angelique is not waiting either, she heads south with her French security team to negotiate the peace deal, heading towards betrayal. Description: Former Police Special Forces Company Commander, Geoffrey Foxtrot, now the Egg Breaker Ground Commander, is operating clandestinely inside South Africa. He is after a medical doctor that is helping Al-Qaeda operatives. Whilst there, he is warned by his wife, former South African Secret Service Head of Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Espionage, Angelique Dawson, now the Egg Breaker Commander, that a new enemy is on the prowl. An ex-French Special Forces member was recruited to train a special hunting group to kill them. As expected, Foxtrot strikes first, going after the assassin. Angelique, in the meantime, is promoted to Major General rank by the French, is also inside South Africa, a place she should not be, to conduct truce negotiations between the groups. What happens next leaves all our heroes fighting for survival against all odds and against the best in the business. If you wish to read about Covert and Special Forces Operations in sub-Saharan Africa, the GMJ Books are the place to start. You will learn about covert operations, Special Forces techniques and military history not known outside the select few. Code Name Dawson is the fifth book in the popular GMJ Series.
About the Author: George M James is a pseudo name for the author and used for security reasons and the safety of his family. He is an expert on counter-terrorism and counterinsurgency operations in sub-Saharan Africa, a military historian and published author of more than 50 books. In the GMJ Series, you will learn about Covert Operations, Special Forces techniques, current political analyses and military history not known outside the select few. Every GMJ Book is based on historical fact and often what is revealed in a GMJ Book is published by the mainstream media a short while later. Many of the GMJ Books are used as training material by Police Forces (SWAT) across the world. Each GMJ Book has a large element of the truth inside it, they are well researched. The GMJ Books may very well change the way you look at counter-terrorism and espionage. George M James's books, both under his real name and as GMJ, are widely read among military veterans of many nations. Note please that GMJ does not claim to have served in South African Army or Police Special Forces. Regarding my books - "I make up my opinions from facts and reasoning, and not to suit any body but myself. If people don't like my opinions, it makes little difference as I don't solicit their opinions or votes." William Tecumseh Sherman. I don't write PC books, however, for what I have to say in my books, it was Martin Luther that stated: "I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I can do no other, so help me God. Amen." And so it will be, GMJ
