About the Book

Millions of Americans believed that our healthcare system was broken and needed to be repaired, but believed that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was not the right solution, only the beginning of a host of new problems. Now that it has been passed, and many of its provisions are known, most Americans have lined up against the new law but are uncertain about and afraid of what is coming next. Is it too late to repeal the ACA? What would we replace it with? The effects of the ACA on our healthcare system has been devastating, as author, Myles Saunders, MD, breaks it down for us. Foremost in our minds must be: "How did this happen?" and "What do we do about it now?" Whether you are a consumer of American healthcare, a provider, or any other participant stakeholder, this book is a must-read. Dr. Saunders, a world-class neurosurgeon and entrepreneur, clarifies in a way no other book has done, how we can restore our once exceptional healthcare system, not just to the status quo, but to an even more elevated, sustainable standard.
