About the Book

Information leaked by members of a secret organization calling themselves, The Order of Divine Right, ODR, lured the leader of another much older group, the Morgans, to break into the Tower of London on New Year's Eve. The Jewel he was looking for, was thought to have been the lost Jewel of Power and Authority that he believed rightfully belonged to his family.

The Jewel once belonged to King Arthur and was said to hold great power.

Though the Jewel was not in the Tower the events of that night revealed that it still existed. This set off a race between these two groups on who would find it first.

Both groups knew the Jewel had been entrusted to the descendants of the great wizard Merlin. If they could find his now living descendant, they were sure to find the Jewel.

Another secret group known as the Society of the Greenman, which was sworn to protect the descendants of Merlin must stop the others from finding him and the Jewel.

The quest takes them all from England to Hawaii, the home of the last Merlin descendant and wizard named Alex Michaels whose family had been on the islands since the 1620s.

While in hiding on his home island, Alex falls in love with a woman. Unknown to him she is the adopted daughter of a high-ranking member of the Greenman, Ted Rowland, who had been sent to Hawaii along with his daughter to protect Alex. His daughter Sarah traveling on her own and not knowing her father's mission or connection also falls in love with Alex not knowing who he truly is.

When he reveals his true identity, Sarah is heartbroken as she believes he is a deranged man. When Sarah is awakened by a fairy and sees that Alex had been telling the truth. A whole new world of magic, fairies, and even a living dragon opens to her.

Alex and Sarah's love comes to full bloom and they plan to marry. At the same time, the forces of greed and power from both the ODR and the Morgans focus in on Alex in Hawaii.

Sarah's father along with his friend Jack manages to stop the ODR's plans but they can do little to stop the Morgans who are now the greatest threat.

When Sarah finally reveals to her adopted father about her newfound love, she also finds out that he is in fact her real father and her mother was a Morgan. Despite this, Alex still loves her and the marriage is still on but he must deal with the other Morgan threat.

Rhyfel, the Morgans' leader is a powerful sorcerer and makes plans to battle Alex and take the Jewel from him.

They meet at the edge of the crater of Hawaii's active volcano Kilauea to fight it out. Before the battle begins Alex tells Rhyfel that he does not have the Jewel and doesn't know where it is. Rhyfel decides to destroy him anyway to rid the world of the last of Merlin's line. During the battle, they are caught up in a violent volcanic eruption. Rhyfel is killed in the eruption. Alex, though injured, is saved by his dragon protector.

Sarah and Alex are married at his home in Hawaii. Sarah insists that part of their honeymoon should include the search for the true location of the Jewel back in England to protect her husband and unborn child.

The Jewel is found but its location is kept a secret between her and Alex.
