Sono poesie che ci giungono dal mare e dal cielo, riecheggiando sulle scogliere portoghesi e mediterranee riempiono gli spazi delle città. I versi conducono attraverso i vicoli di Lisbona e da lì si muovono verso l'Algarve, descrivendo, con echi quasi parnassiani, le creature reali, immaginarie o mitologiche, che vivono nei villaggi della costa oceanica. Elementi semplici e primordiali, quali l'acqua e la luce, dirigono lo sguardo interiore verso profondità poco esplorate dell'anima, i pensieri acquistano una liquida luminosità e una vita che diventa indipendente, pur rimanendo legati in maniera quasi onirica agli elementi che l'hanno generata. Dio è presente ma tra le quinte, si lascia indovinare tramite la bellezza del mondo e ci lambisce con la sua luce, come le onde del mare sono descritte a lambire la rena. La raccolta è un canto sì di riflessione ma anche espressione di gioia e pace quando ci presenta scene di vita semplice quali una festa in piazza o frammenti di vita visti sotto una luce intimista. About the Author: Roberto Maggiani was born in Carrara in 1968, graduated in Physics at Pisa University, he lives in Rome, where he teaches. He founded, together with Giuliano Brenna, the online literary free magazine LaRecherche.it, of which he is the coordinator of editing, and for which care e-book "Free Books". He is President of the homonymous cultural association. He has published several collections of poetry, the most recent are: "Scienza aleatoria", LietoColle (2010); "La bellezza non si somma", italic (2014); "Marmo in guerra", Edizioni La Grafica Pisana (2014). His texts and translations from Portuguese are published in various literary magazines and anthologies. It is present in "Lo Specchio - Storia Letteraria del '900 e 2000", by Annamaria Vanalesti, Società Editrice Dante Alighieri. He won LericiPea Award 2014 for the unpublished poem. He is Chairman of the Literary Prize "Il Giardino di Babuk - Proust en Italie". "L'ordine morale del Paradiso" is his first novel.
