About the Author: Ladee C was raised in a military family and was exposed to a variety of cultures at an early age. She began writing while still in grade school, and in addition to The Chronicles of Carina Star, she is the author of the Soul Mate series, the Dragon Blood series, the Watcher series, and the Dark Water series.
A graduate of Nunez Community College in Chalmette, Louisiana, she has worked in the medical field as an EMT for twelve years. She currently lives in Gretna, Louisiana, with her husband and four children.
