About the Author: In the fall of 1962, Antonio A. Dueño was a member of one of the last classes to graduate from 7 Hubert Street Police Academy. He served as an NYPD detective analyst on terrorist activities and as a member of the bureau of Special Services Intel Division from 1962 to 1978.
After retiring from the force in 1978, Dueño stepped into the role of regional director of corporate security for AT&T and Lucent Technologies for the Asia Pacific region, based and headquartered in Hong Kong.
Dueño retired from AT&T in 2003.
