About the Author: William Thomas Pratt was born in Key West, Florida. After serving in the military, he taught for a number of years before leaving the field to pursue a career in retail management.
Pratt came to faith in Christ in his thirties, but it was during a revival in Lakeland, Florida, in 2007 that he experienced a "close encounter of the God kind." His testimony of healing from decades of emotional pain stemming from childhood trauma is included in his first book, Workout in the Word: Building Your Spiritual Muscles, published by Storyline Publishing in October 2015.
A devourer of the word, Pratt has spent the past several years writing devotions for himself and others. He and his wife, Jami, live in Arkansas, where they enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and a four-year-old great-granddaughter.
