Brandy, From Sister To Husband is a story of a young transgender lady who hated living as a boy and anything traditionally male. After getting breast implants and no longer looking male she hates having to live as a male in female attire as a wife. This shows that many have to be willing to hate their life to have life ternal. These problem areas are all fictional for the purpose of causing the reader to think farther than outward appearance. Some women will hate the refrences to dresses and veils for female attire, but a check of accurate history will show that women, and mainly Christian women are to be modest, chaste, keepers of the house and in subjection unto their husbands, regardless of what society thinks or chooses as acceptable. Ladies veiled their faces and wore gloves until the 1960's in many areas. Some men and women may feel a man ruling is house and spanking a rebellious wife is hate or abuse. It is better to be chastened than divorced. This is scriptural as well. Some may find the thought of men living as women evil as well, but one must remember that some things are beyond our control. There is a difference between a man who knows no better or must go beyond what others feel to stay alive, serve the Lord or keep from getting so depressed he commits suicide. How many have ever stopped to think that showing mercy can give a person time to have a problem answered? How many lives could have been spared if a parent just considered how they would feel in such a situation? The Lord is a Great King who deserves obdedience unto his word for the sacrifice he made to give us eternal life. He demands to be obeyed. He is also a merciful God who looks far beyond the outer appearance. The outward appearance of the wrong clothing can have mercy while damning others. It depends on the heart being manifested outwardly. Love, fear, or hate and rebellion. It all matters.
