E' fatta! Posso dire di aver concluso un ciclo di vita che in questi giorni ha superato di un palmo la cima iperbolica dell'insopportabile. Ora inizia la discesa. Da questo stato di riposo apparente, incomincio a scrutare l'orizzonte delle cose compiute e vedo profilarsi la massa corposa di un'opera, che non è letteratura; né arte poetica, ma cuore d'uomo aperto, per farsi leggere i fiumi di parole, scritte coi rivi di sangue, sin'ora tenuti nascosti, perchè non era tempo. Ma gli anni del tormento, interminabili quanto i secoli del dolore umano, gridano a gran voce, bramando la sospensione della pena, per meritarsi l'attimo dell'eterna pace che mai ha mostrato il suo sorriso. E nel dolore, la perenne veglia ha maturato accorte riflessioni; in quello stare svegli a forza, notte dopo notte, a causa delle fitte lancinanti che mi spezzavano l'anima, dissecandola, per colpire meglio il punto dove fa più male, vedevo scorrere davanti agli occhi, i mali che affliggono l'umanità, la sofferenza delle genti, gli accidenti, le torture e le disgrazie dei miei simili. E ne coglievo la pena, per esprimerla tutta nelle dolorose righe della mia Poesia. Se taluno ambisce maturare, maturi nella soffe-renza; e se taluno si ritiene maturo dopo aver vissuto i suoi anni, sappia che è solo un balordo. E così vedevo i politici, i capi di questa società, gli uomini che hanno contato in quest'ultimo trentennio, i costruttori di un mondo marcio sino alle midolla, nel quale i figli dei demoni hanno esaltato l'astuzia satanica, per promuovere azioni di malefico potere a danno dei popoli. Le guerre, che rappresentano le realtà di sempre, si associano molto bene agli ultramoderni armamenti atomico-nucleari ed ai più recenti disastri ecologici, che hanno in comune il disegno satanico di distruggere il Creato di Dio. Se tutto ciò è realtà, la mia poesia narra questa realtà, rendendo attuale ciò che parrebbe detto d'altri tempi, in virtù di stile adottato che celerebbe la crudeltà, ma che invece paventa i timori futuri, per un mondo che già palesa di sé una morte cruenta. Che fare? Che dire? Come esprimere in chiare lettere i lamenti del cielo, della terra, del mare, che urlano a gran voce parole ineffabili, contro i distruttori? Come esprimere in chiare lettere l'urlo di dolore dei miseri, vittime della violenza dei malvagi, sacrificate ad un altro dio che non si chiama Amore, il cui sangue non dipinge la terra, ma nutre i vampiri di questo secolo, assetati non dell'acqua della Vita, ma del sangue che contiene la vita. Io, sofferente, in questa perenne veglia, odo le grida che echeggiano nell'aria, provenienti da ogni dove; le raccolgo ad una ad una, attento a non tradire il pianto dello sfogo, per porle davanti a Dio insieme alle lagrime dei poveri, che dalla terra gridano vendetta, nella giustizia, per ottenere un tozzo di pane. Ed è con questo spirito, che oso parlare per bocca di un fiore di campo oppresso dal vento furente della tempesta, quando urlano a gran voce i folli: A morte, a morte i fiori! Falciate la Vita, uccidete l'Amore!Mentre un fiore nascosto si chiede: Perchè?
