About the Author: Robert MacGuffie is the author of a series of adventures starring protagonist Mitch Gainer and set in his own home region of northern Idaho. Chinook's Mother Lode is the third book in the series, which also includes Chinook's Farewell and Chinook's Spirit.
Before pursuing his doctorate and then a forty-year career as a psychologist, MacGuffie worked in the silver mines of Idaho. Currently a professor emeritus at Bowling Green State University, he has published numerous articles, monographs, and other publications in the field of psychology. He is now hard at work on Mitch Gainer's fourth adventure.
