About the Author: I have worked as a writer and advocate in the field of childhood sexual abuse for the past 23 years, focusing on research and writing in the areas of healing from trauma, spiritual growth, and personal empowerment. My advocacy work on behalf of survivors of abuse led to my development of public information events, presentations, and workshops to educate and empower survivors and professionals alike.
