About the Author

Dr. Lokendra Malik is practicing as an Advocate in the Supreme Court of India, associated with the reputed chambers of Senior Advocate Mr Salman Khurshid. Dr. Malik did his B.A., LL.B., and LL.M. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and Ph.D. in Law from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Recently he was awarded the LL.D. degree by the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He has also taught law in some premier institutions of the country including the Indian Institute of Public Administration for a number of years before coming into legal practice. Dr Malik is a prolific writer who has written 18 books on different topics pertaining to law and governance. He is also associated with many reputed academic and social bodies. Law, they say, is a jealous mistress, which leaves little room for other occupations and engagements. Quite exceptionally, Dr. Manish Arora has managed a way around quite masterly and has donned many hats on many occasions with equal elan. Dr. Manish Arora did his graduation from Hindu College, Delhi University and LL.B. from Law Faculty, Delhi University and further joined Harvard Law School in USA for JDIP and JDAL. Dr. Arora, an advocate practicing in the Supreme Court of India, is Director, Universal Law Publishing Co. Pvt. Ltd. and Senior Consultant, LexisNexis. He has edited and authored a number of books and edits a monthly national magazine for lawyers. He has to his credit numerous articles on legal issues published in several magazines and has also appeared on television as an expert on a few occasions. On the academic side he is Member Board of Legal Studies, Amity University U.P., Member Academic Advisory Board, LLoyd Law College, NOIDA, Visiting Faculty with National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, Indian Law Institute, New Delhi and University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. On the judicial side, he is an Arbitrator appointed by the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India for Settlement of International Domain Name Disputes, and has also worked as Magistrate in Matrimonial matters in the XVIIth Lok Adalat at Delhi. He is Patent Agent, Government of India. He is past President of Harvard Club of India 2008-2010 and is presently Chairman of Legal Committee of The Federation of Publishers' and Booksellers' Associations in India.
