About the Book

This story is a continuation of the Annapolis Series. It follows the Annapolis family as they continue their journey through this life at the hands of fate, the choices they make and the destiny that this life holds for them - as it does for us all....... The author loved two of the characters depicted in the first two stories so much, that she gave them their own story - called Chef For Hire - which takes place in Paris France and England. Myra Annapolis has graduated the prestigious and famous culinary institute of Le Cordon Blue in Paris France. Earning a La Grande Diploma in cuisine and Patisserie and a diploma in Wine Management, Myra now works in an exclusive and well known, established restaurant 'La Pierre De Savoy' in the heart of Paris France. Her dreams of being a chef are now a reality as she starts a journey that will lead her toward becoming a famous chef...... When her cousin Kaleena marries the king of Mareedikhan, Myra travels to the country of Mareedikhan to attend her cousins wedding - as the maid of honor. She does not foresee a meeting that will change her life in ways she never imagined - a chance meeting with the king's cousin Prince Zachary of Mareedikhan - Sheik of the Mareedikhannese desert. Myra is leery of the prince from the start, for he is a wealthy playboy and has a reputation as a heart breaker, yet she is drawn to him in a way she never saw coming. Drawn into a web that may leave her so tangled that she can not escape, a web that is filled with secrets, danger and mystery...... Prince Zachary Baraby of Mareedikhan - wealthy, spoiled, a player, he is entranced by the beautiful Myra Annapolis, cousin to the new bride of the king. Use to getting his way in all things, the beautiful Myra is no exception for his pursuit.... Her beauty and charming, amusing personality, along with her ambitious, focused, goals as a chef leave him branded, wanting to know more, much more..... He is determined to make Myra his mistress and pursues her with relentless determination despite her stubborn refusal to be with him. This only amuses him and makes her more of a challenge, the opposite of what Myra wants. When he offers Myra the chance of a lifetime catering a formal dinner party in London England, Myra does not refuse. After all, what young girl would not jump at the chance to cater for a wealthy, powerful prince with numerous connections......Taking three weeks from her job at the restaurant, Myra flies with several assistants to Mayfair London to cater for the prince and his important guests - heads of state and leaders of countries. Her presence in London, always at the prince's beck and call, brings him closer to achieving his own goal......Myra in his bed. No woman has ever been able to resist him and his pursuit of the beautiful Myra will finally get him what he desires......Yet Myra is stubborn to the core, as she continues to resist the gorgeous prince and a battle of wills gets more heated. Myra soon discovers a hidden side to the prince that leaves her confused, yet invisibly drawn tighter into the web she has become entangled in. Prince Zachary holds a secret life, a life that only his closest family and friends are privy to. A past that has haunted him for years and one he has wrestled with his whole life. But a closure he is closer to than ever before, brings his past back to haunt him and entangles Myra with him........ A dangerous secret that might cause him to lose the one person he cares about more than his own life..... Would you risk your heart if it might mean losing your dreams or worse - your life......?
