It's not how fast you lose weight that's important, it's how long you can keep it off. Change Control Diet is a process to change eating and exercise habits. The foundation of the program is making small stepwise changes for reducing calories and incorporating healthier food choices and exercise over time. Worldwide obesity has more than doubled in the past four decades with taking the weight loss industry's sexy, fast weight loss approach and the nutritionist's approach of eating 100% healthy. Currently, obesity and overweight statistics support that not only do approximately 95% of people fail at diets but they also end up putting more weight on after the diet.
If you want to lose the weight once and for all, Change Control Diet will teach you how to change your eating and exercise habits one small step at a time. Learning to eat differently is far more complex than trying to quit smoking or drinking alcohol because you need to eat to survive. You do not need tobacco or alcohol to survive.
"Suiter's guide introduces readers to the author's flexible, effective plan for long-term, healthy weight loss. The most effective way to lose weight and keep it off, Suiter argues, doesn't involve drastic, immediate sea changes. It involves small, consistent changes to diet and exercise--changes that become habits, not chores--staying optimistic and forgiving yourself when you misstep. The easy-to-follow charts and uplifting tone will make this book an invaluable resource for many readers struggling with the scale." Kirkus Reviews
"The Change Control Diet is a very simple approach to weight loss that anyone can follow and succeed. This book is not about dieting rather it is about changing your lifestyle. There's no prescribed menu, point counting, or medication. I strongly agree with the program's philosophy about slowly changing eating habits and incorporating additional activity into your daily routine to bring about long term weight loss. Losing weight does not need to be a complicated process. Thanks for putting in writing what I have been trying to explain to patients for years. I am recommending this book to my patients." Ronald M.
