Schulpolitik, Note: 1,0, Universität zu Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Abschlussarbeit ist es, konkrete Chancenungleichheiten von Schüler: innengruppen im gesamten Verlauf ihres Bildungsweges aufzuzeigen. Hierzu werden die Schulleistungen dieser Schüler: innengruppen anhand von ausgewählten Schulleistungsstudien untersucht. Zusätzlich werden das Vorkommen und Erscheinungsbild von institutioneller Diskriminierung in der Schule aufgeführt. Nachdem ein Überblick über die relevantesten Erklärungsansätze für die Bildung von Chancengleichheit gegeben wurde, wird die Heterogenität im Bildungssystem sowohl als Anforderung an die Lehrkräfte als auch als Ansatzpunkte für den Abbau von Bildungsungleichheiten vorgestellt. Mit der Veröffentlichung der Ergebnisse der ersten PISA-Studie (2001) wurde nicht nur bekannt gegeben, dass die Schulleistungen von Schüler: innen signifikant unter dem OECD-Durchschnitt liegen, sondern auch bewiesen, dass in Deutschland ein enger Zusammenhang zwischen der sozialen Herkunft und dem Kompetenzerwerb besteht. Dieser sogenannte PISA-Schock führte dazu, dass die starke soziale Selektion im deutschen Bildungssystem angesprochen wurde, wodurch verschiedene Bildungsreformen eingesetzt wurden. Durch die Bildungs- und Sozialstrukturforschung konnte gezeigt werden, dass in allen Bildungsbereichen Ungleichheiten, ausgelöst durch soziale Herkunft, Zuwanderungshintergrund und Geschlecht nachweisbar sind. Dabei werden gerade Kinder und Jugendliche aus sozial schwachen Familien sowie Schüler: innen mit Zuwanderungshintergrund von dieser Bildungsbenachteiligung betroffen. Die Untersuchung der Bildungsungleichheit in der Institution Schule ist in dem Sinne eine wichtige Thematik, da Personen aufgrund diverser Faktoren eine Benachteiligung erfahren und dadurch diskriminiert werden.
