Dazu werden das derzeitige E-Commerce im Neuwagenhandel sowie das heute übliche Vermittlergeschäft dargestellt. Anschließend werden andere Möglichkeiten des Vertriebs von Neuwagen im Internet aufgezeigt und kritisch gewürdigt, wobei auch der klassische sowie der virtuelle Kaufprozess analysiert wird. Abschließend wird eine Entscheidungsgrundlage geschaffen. Im Ergebnis wird deutlich, dass der Verkauf über das Internet für die Kunden hauptsächlich Vorteile bietet, jedoch auch Probleme und Gefahren auftreten können. Dennoch sind die Hersteller gefragt, ein geeignetes Konzept für den Vertrieb von Neuwagen im Internet zu entwickeln. Wichtig ist, dass die Hersteller ihre Vertragshändler bei der Entwicklung eines solchen Konzepts nicht übergehen, sondern vielmehr kooperativ mit diesen zusammenarbeiten.

Nach einer Ausbildung zum Automobilkaufmann hat er an der FH Aachen Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit dem Schwerpunkt Marketing studiert, welches er 2014 mit dem Bachelor of Science abschloss. Die Affinität für den Fahrzeughandel, aber auch für den E-Commerce haben den Autor motiviert, sich der Thematik des vorliegenden Buches zu widmen.
