Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,3, Universität Duisburg-Essen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mobbing findet in fast allen Bereichen unserer Gesellschaft statt. Jedes Opfer leidet enorm unter der ständigen Schikane und dem permanenten Gefühl ungewollt zu sein. Deutschland belegt derzeit den dritten Platz in der Liste, der Länder in der eine besonders hohe Mobbingrate bei Jugendlichen vorherrscht (www.mobbing-web.de). Mobbing und vor allem Mobbing an Schulen, stellt zurzeit ein sehr aktuelles Thema in der Öffentlichkeit dar. Dabei ist Gewalt unter Schulkindern ein altes Thema über das es lange Zeit kaum Studien sowie Präventions- und Interventionsprogramme gab. Ich habe das Thema Schulsozialarbeit mit dem Fokus auf Schülermobbing sowie Präventions- und Interventionsmaßnahmen für diese Arbeit gewählt, da ich in einem Praktikum an einer Gesamtschule im Ruhrgebiet die Möglichkeit hatte aktiv an der Entwicklung und der Durchführung eines Klassenprojektes zum Thema Mobbing unter Schülern mitzuwirken. Die zentrale Frage die ich in meiner Diplomarbeit behandeln möchte, lautet welche Chancen und Grenzen es für die Schulsozialarbeit im Bezug auf das Thema Schülermobbing gibt. Diese Möglichkeiten und Grenzen möchte ich anhand einer empirischen Studie verdeutlichen. 2 Bei dieser Arbeit wurde ich von dem Interesse geleitet zu ermitteln, in wie weit sich in einem kurzen Zeitraum von xx Wochen Veränderungen einstellen und Erfolge erzielt werden können. Um diese Erfolge messen zu können, wurde ein Interviewbogen entwickelt, der vor und am Ende des Klassenprojektes von den teilnehmenden Schülern anonym ausgefüllt und im Anschluss daran ausgewertet wurde. Diese empirische Studie sowie deren Ergebnisse, stellen einen zentralen Punkt dieser Diplomarbeit dar. Die Diplomarbeit ist in zwei Bereiche aufgeteilt.
