Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2000 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,3, Ev. Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit & Diakonie Hamburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ausgangspunkt und Hintergrund für die Auseinandersetzung sollen die Soziale Arbeit und Überlegungen zum methodischen Handeln sein. Somit verorte ich die Erlebnispädagogik als eine Methode innerhalb der Sozialen Arbeit. Um die Abgrenzung zu den Vertretern der Erlebnispädagogik noch einmal plakativ auf den Punkt zu bringen: In meiner Arbeit bin ich nicht darauf angewiesen, der Methode 'Erlebnispädagogik' das Wort zu reden. Im Vordergrund steht vielmehr die Überprüfung, inwieweit erlebnispädagogische Ansätze dazu befähigen, gelingend methodisch zu handeln bzw. aufzuzeigen wo Probleme offenkundig werden. Daher sehe ich Überlegungen zum methodischen Handeln für die Erlebnispädagogik genauso bindend an wie für andere Methoden in der Sozialen Arbeit. Somit erhält die Erlebnispädagogik in meiner Diplomarbeit keine Vorschußlorbeeren, im Gegenteil, sie muss beweisen, inwieweit sie als Methode sozialpädagogische Relevanz hat. Um dieser Frage nachzugehen, ist es für mich unablässig, mich ausführlich mit methodischem Handeln in der Sozialen Arbeit 'per se' auseinander zu setzen. Zuerst werde ich den Rahmen für dieses Handeln abstecken: Wo liegen die Probleme methodischen Handelns? Wodurch wird methodisches Handeln determiniert? Daran schließt sich ein 'neuer Blick' auf methodisches Handeln an: Als eine Grundlage dafür stelle ich kurz die 'Membership-Theorie' von Hans S. Falck vor und erläutere dann das 'Arbeitsprinzip Partizipation' von Timm Kunstreich. Abschließend werde ich in diesem Teil Maximen für ein gelingendes methodisches Handeln aufstellen. In einem nächsten Schritt begebe ich mich auf eine geschichtliche Spurensuche. Anliegen dieser historischen Kontaktaufnahme ist der Versuch, in der Geschichte der Pädagogik alternative handlungs- und erlebnisorientierte Ansätze aufzuspüren und diese in Verbin
